We sadly have to dedicate this podcast to one of the founding fathers of the sound system scene in Italy, who suddenly passed away few days ago.
DJ Fabri started in the 80’s as a drummer of the well known italian hardcore group Negazione, then switched to hip hop becoming the DJ of the rap group FCE, also producing their 1992’s notorious 12″ “Slega la lega”.
After DJing for Papa Ricky, he founded, longside Don Ciccio and Supa P, one of the first italian sound system Vibra, later known as Jah Vibra.
He paved the way for us to do what we do today, never forget that.
We want to pay our tribute with this selection taken straight from a dance we held together some years ago, you will enjoy some classic Jah Vibra vibes, including killer dubplates. The mighty Micky out of Dread Movement is on the mic.
